Sentiment analysis — a definition

If you've heard the term sentiment analysis but still aren't exactly sure what it means — and if you want to understand what your consumer wants from you and how they feel — then you have come to the right place!

Sentiment analysis is a pretty cool tool that takes a look at conversations that are happening in the media about your brand or company.

It then makes use of another nifty little tool called natural language processing (NLP) to determine if the data it is looking at is positive, neutral or negative.

Brands are then able to make informed choices as to how to approach these conversations and avoid possible crises.
