How to Capitalise On Positive Sentiment Analysis Results

Brands often don't know what to do once they receive their sentiment analysis results. It is important to remember that sentiment analysis is a means to an end, not an end in itself.

Therefore, it’s what they do with the insights that will determine how valuable it will be to the brand.

There are a few ways to respond to positive sentiment analysis results that will help your brand capitalise on the positive media coverage it is receiving.

First, engage with the media outlet in question. Thanking the journalist or publication for giving your brand positive publicity contributes to a positive media relationship, which can benefit you in the future.

Next, re-share your positive coverage. Use social media, paid media, newsletters, or any form of announcement to amplify the positive coverage your brand received. This way, you can highlight whatever resulted in the positive coverage.

Finally, don't boast or over-promote your positive coverage. Audiences get tired of hearing all about what a brand achieves. Rather, frame it to emphasise a benefit statement for your audience.
